The justification for an environmental project

On May 25, 2019 by Ezria Clayton

An environmental project is framed within field projects or feasible, tend to consider the solution of a problem that occurs in the environment or the reduction of its consequences, including the study of what causes it.

They start from a direct observation of the problem, investigate it and provide solutions in this regard. The justification for an environmental project should focus on:

  • Explain accurately the importance of carrying out the project for the environment.
  • The contribution that could generate both environmentally and socially and in the field of knowledge in which it is framed.
  • To show its feasibility, the scope it could have and if it can be maintained over time.
  • The monetary resources that could be required and the why.
  • The researcher’s interest in its realization.
  • The time you need for assembly and execution.
  • The benefits of the project.

The justification of a degree project

The degree project is a research project required by the institutes of higher education to obtain an academic degree of professionalization or postgraduate.

In them, the researcher must select a topic of interest, determine the problem situation and study it.

Investigate the theoretical, legal and methodological references that allow the realization of the project, develop a program of action and provide a viable and feasible solution to the problem.

The justification for a degree project must basically contain everything we refer to in the first part of this article. In summary:

  • Explain clearly what you want to achieve with research
  • Specify why the research is done
  • Frame it within a line of methodological research
  • Define the scope of the investigation and its durability over time
  • Establish if it is a feasible project

-Raise the importance of research within the social and academic context in which it is framed.

-Present briefly the theoretical support that supports the completion of the investigation.

-Specify the contribution that research will generate in the theoretical field of knowledge to which it is circumscribed

-To point out the researcher’s personal interest in the subject without falling into subjectivity.

-Define a little the time that will take the development of the project.

-Explain if the investigation will generate an opening for further investigations in the area.

As you can see, justification is a fundamental part of a project, whether it is research or life, community or environmental. The acceptance depends on the justification. It is your defense.

Basically all justification seeks to provide accurate, strong, substantiated and argued information about the content of the work and its relevance both in the area of study and in the social, cultural or academic context in which it is developed.

Carrying out the justification of a project is not a difficult task, you just have to have clarity in the subject you address in your research, its objectives and purposes.

If this article has been useful, do not forget to indicate your appreciation in the comments.
